We All Scream For Ice Cream!

I had a lazy Saturday afternoon this past weekend. It all began by channel surfing, and then my heart stopped. Something caught my eye...lots and lots of ice cream! I paused to watch The Food Network show Unwrapped; which is a show that focuses on behind-the-scenes tours of classic American food. This episode just happened to be all about ice cream! In addition to Klondike Bars and Dairy Queen Blizzards, they had a special segment on a custom ice cream shop called eCreamery. Custom Ice Cream? I died and went to heaven.

At eCreamery, not only can you create your own custom ice cream flavor (gelato and sorbetto too!) and mix-ins, but you can create your own ice cream name. They have themed sampler packages; perfect for a student, mom-to-be, birthday, and even a break-up. What could sooth a broken heart better than a pint of "Love Bites" ice cream?

Ice cream flavors can be traditional such as French Vanilla, Butter Pecan, and Cookies & Cream. Or, you can opt for bolder flavors such as Chocolate Merlot, Avocado, and Green Tea. The mix-ins are just as fun and include treats such as Mint Chips, Brownie Bites, Basil, and Cheddar Cheese Pieces. Cheddar Cheese Pieces? Eh, not for me!

Although, eCreamery has only one location (and it's in Omaha, Nebraska); most of their business is done online. You can order your custom ice cream online at eCreamery.

Now if you'll excuse me...

I'm going to go create a pint of "Prince Charming."

Fondly,
Optimistic
